Apparently you haven't tried it... I had the 16 inch Intel before (got the M1 two weeks ago and will never ever look back) and couldn't even make a two hour train ride as the battery already died when I arrived (and my thighs were burning hot). Now every build goes lightning fast and I have workdays without ever charging.
